IMPORTANT STUDIO POLICIES

We do not offer refunds or transfers, please keep this in mind when making any purchase at this location.

NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed in the studio PLEASE. Yes, water is okay :)

Class registration closes 2 hours prior to class start time. If you are not 100% sure if you can make it to class, we encourage you to register right before the 2 hour closing time. SOMETIMES we have the time to manually open the class 15 minutes prior to class start time, but many times we don't, so please register prior to the 2 hour closing time.

You can not attend class without your text or email confirmation of that scheduled registered class.

If you early cancel your scheduled class, your class credit will go back to your Membership or class package. All other students; class credit will go on a studio gift card to your student account. All studio policies apply, please review them on the website www.vpolestudio.com

No show and late cancel students will lose their class. You MUST cancel your registration a minimum of 24 hours prior to class start time to prevent losing your class credit. After the 24 hour mark, your class can not be canceled. Please keep this in mind BEFORE you register for any class.

All Students will be charged $5 each time they late cancel. Unlimited members will lose 3 days from their monthly pass in addition to their late cancel fee. All students will be charged a $25 no cancel/no show if they fail to attend a scheduled class.

These fees can be avoided by following our simple studio policies. Late Cancel Fee is $5 and No Show Fee is $25.

SIGN-UP POLICY

To guarantee your spot in any class please reserve your spot in advance online a MINIMUM of 2 hours before class begins. Unfortunately, any class with less than 3 participants is subject to cancelation. We encourage you to always check the schedule before coming to the studio, just in case a class happens to cancel. It is a rare occurrence but it can happen. 

WAITLIST POLICY 

When classes are full, you can sign up to be on the waitlist. Frequently, students sign out early from classes, making room for those on the waitlist. When a student signs up for a wait list, that student should fully intend to come to class, even upon short notice. When you are added to a class from a waitlist, you will receive an automatic email from our scheduling system. Please make sure you have a VALID phone number and email address on file in your Offering Tree student account, this is the ONLY way you will be notified. Once added to a class you will be held to the cancellation policy. If you are not sure you will be able to make a class with short notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being charged for a late cancel or no show.

LATE POLICY

DO NOT BE LATE - YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE CLASS. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER DAY AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED YOUR MONEY. You should be dressed and ready to start your class at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your class to avoid being late. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time as tardiness is disruptive to the classroom experience we aim to provide.

CANCELATION POLICY

At Vertical Pole Studio we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. As long as you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled class, your class credit will be returned to your account and you will be able to schedule for a future date. However, if you late cancel in the 24-hour cancelation period prior to your class start time you will lose the class credit and will not be permitted to reschedule for another date.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you purchase your classes/sessions/space rentals, make sure you know the expiration date and use all sessions before that date. We will not extend the expiration date. 

AGE LIMITATIONS

If you are under the age of 18, we require parent/guardian/designated adult consent before you are permitted to take a class, a private session, party or space rental. The parent/guardian/designated adult must come to the studio with the minor, and sign a consent form with proper identification. This is for insurance and liability purposes. Feel free to sign up for class online ahead of time, but make sure any minors are accompanied by their parent when arriving at the studio. Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class or session start time to sign any paper work. 

NO SPECTATOR POLICY

Spectators are not allowed to watch classes at the studio. If you have questions about classes please call or schedule an appointment.

PROPER ATTIRE

ADULTS: Under garments are not appropriate attire and you will not be allowed to participate if wearing only under garments.

POLE: No metal hand jewelry and/or dangling necklaces or earrings. Avoid applying lotion for 24 hours prior to class - oil and metal don't mix!

• You should wear form fitted pole/yoga shorts and a tank top. Sports Bras are recommended for protection and support. We need to have a lot of skin exposed, as you need to stick to the pole. Fabric will slide right off the pole, giving you no grip.

• Kasey's recommendations to add to your studio bag: Knee pads, leg warmers & socks. 

AERIAL: No metal hand jewelry and/or dangling necklaces or earrings.

• We encourage students to wear clothing that covers the armpits, the backs of their knees and torso for all aerial classes, other than pole. This will help avoid burns caused by friction with the fabric or hoop.

SAFETY POLICIES

Safety is our number one priority! 

• Our instructors are certified and trained to teach in their form of fitness. Students may not, under any circumstances, instruct or spot each other. All instruction and spotting must be performed by an instructor. Please proceed at your own pace and do not exceed your current capabilities. Your instructor is there to guide you but you are always responsible for knowing your own limitations. Always follow your instructor's cues and adhere to the lesson structure. Our curriculum is progressive in nature and is designed to meet you at your current level. If you do not follow the lesson structure and instead attempt to do your own thing, it is not only disruptive to the class, but also presents a safety concern. 

• Open Training & Practice times require crash mats at all times. Students are only allowed to train on moves they have learned 

BEHAVIOR AT THE STUDIO

• Please respect your instructors and fellow students and leave your phone conversations outside the studio while in class. This applies to text messaging and emailing as well.

• No street shoes permitted in the studio.

• We do not tolerate bullying or disrespecting of other students and their personal space. Such behavior will result in you being removed from the studio, and you will no longer be able to take classes at ANY Vertical Pole Studio location. Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre or Pensacola

PICTURES, FILMING & SOCIAL MEDIA POLICIES

Taking pictures and filming are not allowed in our classes. Please respect other students’ privacy. If you wish to take pictures or film yourself, you are welcome to do so during the following times:

• Pole Parties

• Private Sessions

• Private Space Rentals

• Open Pole/Aerial Practice

• After/Before Class

Pictures & Filming for Promotional Purposes

Vertical Pole Studio Fort Walton Beach periodically takes pictures and films while classes are in session. We will announce when this is about to take place so you can step out of the camera if you do not want to be included. PLEASE NOTE: When we have guest instructors conducting classes, or workshops we will not make this announcement. Do not sign up for any guest instructors class or workshop if you do not want to be in a picture and/or video. We will be doing both during these special events.

Social Media
Any picture or video taken at ANY Vertical Pole Studio location allows us permission to share this content to our social media platforms.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

• Food and beverages, with the exception of bottled water, are not allowed in the dance studios. Please make sure to leave food and drinks in the commons area with your personal belongings.

•  Alcohol consumption is not permitted prior to any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated when arriving at our studio, you will not be allowed to participate, and will not be refunded your money. 

SPACE RENTALS

• Space rentals are for personal use (practice, rehearsals, videotaping, etc.), and are not for profit or instructional purposes. Please note, if guidelines are not adhered to we reserve the right to end your rental early without refund.

• A 24-hour cancelation policy applies when booking a private space rental; you will not receive your credit back for future use if you cancel less than 24 hours ahead of time.

• Space rentals are booked by the hour. We do not book half-hour rentals.

• Space rentals for photoshoots or video projects must be booked via email. contact@vpolestudio.com

PRIVATE SESSIONS

We ask that you let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel a private session or you will lose your private session credit. There are no refunds on late cancelations.

PRIVACY POLICY
